Ariella Nasuti, Of Counsel
Ariella Nasuti advises social justice, healthcare, education, community development, basic needs, legal aid, LGBTQ+, animal welfare, environmental, workforce development, placemaking, social mobility, veterans services, civic engagement, faith-based, cultural and other nonprofits. For over 20 years she has been privileged to empower her clients and their allies to ideate; innovate; and scale outreach, collaborations, and impact. Ariella graduated with honors from Barnard College, Columbia University, with a B.A. in Political Science. She attended the Hebrew University in Jerusalem as a Visiting Scholar and holds a J.D. from the University of Michigan Law School. Ariella is licensed to practice law in New York.
Representative matters:
- Advised a public-private partnership developing a downtown innovation district. Negotiated project scope with government and community stakeholders, and provided counsel regarding mind-to-market commercialization strategies and entrepreneur support services.
- Counseled boards of directors regarding capacity building, program scaling, investment, and partnering decisions.
- Negotiated an asset transfer agreement to dissolve the fiscal sponsorship of a controlled entity.
- Oversaw the rollout of a $300 million capital fundraising campaign, providing counsel regarding gift acceptance policies, donor pipelining, and planned giving vehicles.
