Monica M. Robles

Monica M. RoblesMonica M. Robles is of Counsel to The Law Firm for Non-Profits. Like many business lawyers with a tax background, Monica handles a wide range of legal problems, including business formation and related planning for profit and non-profit organizations; corporate and real estate matters; and income tax planning. True to the firm's proactive approach, Monica is a vigorous proponent of "preventive law," helping our clients avoid pitfalls and recurring problems. For instance, this may entail identifying current or potential business problems and translating solutions into appropriate contracts or agreements.

Monica was born and raised in México. She is fully bilingual and bicultural, (Spanish/English), which allows her to provide outstanding international tax and business services to foreign clients as well as domestic clients active in the Spanish-speaking world. Monica received her law degree and her masters in taxation from the University of San Diego School of Law (LL.M., Taxation, 1997; J.D., 1997). She received her undergraduate education from the University of California, Berkeley (B.A. Psychology, 1994). Monica is admitted to practice in California and is certified as a specialist in Taxation Law by the State Bar of California (Certified Tax Specialist, 2002).
